Translation notary certification is a procedure of executing public documents, which originals are

in a foreign language with the aim of producing them to public authorities of Ukraine. It is carried out

 in 2 stages: Translation of a document and its notary certification. In accordance with the legislation

on notaries of Ukraine, a notary public certifies accuracy of translation from one language to another,

provided he/she has a command of appropriate languages. If a notary public does not have a command

of required languages, translation can be made by a translator, whose signature authenticity is

certified by a notary public.
